Google Analytics
We use the web analysis service Google Analytics, operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google Analytics uses cookies to analyze the use of websites. The data generated in this way for use of our website is transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. We call the Google Analytics API in such a way that your IP address is anonymized.
Even though Google Analytics helps us a lot to improve our website, the integration of the service is not mandatory for functionality. You can decline the integration.
Google reCAPTCHA
We use the Google reCAPTCHA web service, operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. reCAPTCHA is a CAPTCHA system that allows web hosts to differentiate between human and automated access to websites. (Quelle: Wikipedia). Google reCAPTCHA uses cookies for this. The data generated in this way are transmitted to Google servers in the USA and also stored there. You need this service to contact us via our contact form and for leaving comments.
User Tracking
We do not track our visitors. We don't even use any cookies unless it's needed for offering services or certain functionalities. For example, we save a cookie to save your language selection for our website. This means that you only have to change the language once.
These types of cookies cannot be deactivated, otherwise certain functionalities will no longer work. In case cookies are deactivated in your browser generally, you will not be able to use all of our functionalities either.
We use Google Analytics and Google reCAPTCHA. These services allow Google to track our users. We allow our users however, to integrate these services only after explicit consent. In the case of Google reCAPTCHA, consent is even mandatory in order to to contact us via our contact form or to leave a comment elsewhere (e.g. for a tutorial).
User Data
As already mentioned, we ourselves don't track our visitors. The only user data we have is what you offer us when getting in touch with us, i.e. by using the contact form or by leaving a comment for any of our tutorials. In case you want to have your email address deleted from our database contact us and we'll process your request. In fact, we don't and we would never sell any user data to others!
